The Ultima range of fifth Wheels has been developed from the ground up specifically for markets such as Australia and NZ. The Ultima is designed so it can also be towed by smaller international standard pickups such as: Ford Ranger, Holden Colorado, Mazda BT50, D-Max, Navara etc. Ultimas of course can still be towed by the larger Australian & American pickups too.

The Ultima was designed jointly in Australia & the US to withstand the rigors of the Australian outback. All major structural components are generally rated 30% above standard requirements, e.g. each axle assembly, springs, wheels, tyres, and brakes are rated at (2000 kg) where only 1500 kg was required. The king pin has been tested and certified at over 4.5 tonnes when it only needs to pass 3.5 tonnes.
