This motorhome is a just the right one for people who want something that is easy to travel in and gives them a really good level of comfort. The double bed is fixed along the back of the rig, and you need to climb onto it because it is quite high. But there are advantages, one is that you can leave it made up (I do not enjoy having to remake a bed every night), underneath the bed is all storage and you can access that from inside the rig, plus outside. The back doors open up and give you full access to the open space and drawers – a very good idea.
There is a combined shower toilet, quite small, but it contains all the essentials. The hand basin is small, but still usable, I do like the added bathroom mirror in there, it is not big, but it is usable. Between the bathroom and the bed is a small wardrobe, but there is good hanging space, like a lot of rigs it is not just a bar, but one with holes to keep the clothes hangers in place. As I have had all my clothes end up on the floor before now, I do like this idea.
The kitchen area really does use the space well, there is a three burner gas hot plate, an under bench microwave, small fridge and a sink with a drop down tap. Both the hot plates and the sink have hinged covers which you can put down when you are not using them. There is also a hinged addition to the bench, which you just pull up when you need it and put it down when you don’t. When you have all the covers down and the hinged bench up there is a surprising amount of bench space.
The drivers and passengers seats swivel with the drivers seat becoming the second seat at the fixed table, there is one fixed seat in there. Another great use of space is the row of little drawers under the raised floor which mean that you can put all of those little things in, and get to them from outside without having to scrabble around on hands and knees.
There is a TV over the kitchen which you can see from the seats. When you look at this there is everything you want.
Friends of ours have something similar to this lovely Horizon Banksia, and they would not change it for anything. The rig has everything you need, the awning outside gives you plenty of outdoor room, and the comfort level is as high as you can get.
I kept looking at the walls, and finally gave in and stroked them, they are a furry felt in mottled gray and white, and were quite clever. I think this means that you vacuum the walls rather than wash them.
