The HITCHMASTER DO352 All Terrain drop-on coupling from Vehicle Components continues to build on an impressive heritage established by its predecessor and namesake.
The new coupling retains a fully stainless steel twin locking mechanism which is now sealed from the elements by a snap on safety cap. The cover also provides a ready visual inspection that the coupling is locked and ready to go, as the cap doesn’t secure unless the lock is engaged. The coupling offers a full 360 degree rotation and 70 degree articulation which is considered the benchmark for any all terrain coupling.
The DO352 has a load rating of 3.5 tons ATM which is the perfect size for most camper trailers and mid sized caravans. The housing is mounted slightly lower to assist with clearing rear doors, in fact the height from the base plate to the top of the engaged safety cap is only 95mm. The towing pin sports a durable polyurethane wear bush, which reduces friction and noise. Finally the coupling incorporates a soft bumper wrap around to help protect the tow vehicle just in case your rear view camera (or your better half) lets you down.
The coupling and tow pin are SA5 plated for further corrosion protection and is fully sealed with polyurethane bushes for submerging in fresh and salt water, making it suitable for all camper trailers, marine trailers, caravans and trade trailers. The extra benefit of the new HITCHMASTER DO352 is that it is not only functional it is resplendent in its design.
The HITCHMASTER DO352 can be used with weight distribution hitches providing the coupling movement is not obstructed and the maximum pin load of 350kgs is not exceeded.
To compliment the HITCHMASTER DO352 we are offering some optional extras such as a newly designed handbrake, a theft deterrent in the Bi-lock pin, pin cover and the sleek grab handles.
As with all Master Range Products the HITCHMASTER DO352 is designed, tested and manufactured here in Australia for Australian conditions.
