The Central Coast New South Wales is a beautiful area, great beaches, plenty of sunshine and four wonderful Central Coast Tourist Parks that work together to give you a fabulous choice of places to stay, and all within about an hours drive of Sydney.
The lovely park, which is quite long, has a perfect setting on Lake Munmorah, which is part of the Central Coast Lakes system which spreads its beautiful waterways for 80kms. One of the advantages of the lagoons here is that they are safe swimming areas because they are protected from the ocean by a sand bar. They are also great for a range of fishing including prawns and crabs.
Budgewoi Tourist Park has four cabin styles to choose from, plus powered sites, to give you and your family the right accommodation for your holiday. Why not drop into the website and have a look at the quick downloading virtual tours of the cabins to see what they have on offer. Although the park is a perfect spot for water sports enthusiasts, there is plenty of open space for those who like to keep their feet on the ground, so don’t forget to bring a footy with you!
The township of Budgewoi is within walking distance and has an area called Budgewoi Circle which is renowned for it cafes, bistros and restaurants. The parks great newsletter (on their Things to Do page) has lots of information on the park and town, and a nice crossword just incase you have the time!
There is a surprising range of things to do in the area, from the peaceful to the adrenalin rush. The Endota Day Spa has just about anything you could ever want in the way of pampering. If you have never treated your feet to a footbath and massage you do not know what you are missing – it is bliss and your feet with thank you too! There is an easy link on the things to do page on the park website.
For the more adventurous why not follow the link to the Tree Tops Adventure Park, which boasts 80 challenges involving trees. You climb up, walk through, slide down and generally get up close and personal with trees. Even the kids are catered for here with all sorts of supervised activities for them no matter how big or small.
Budgewoi Tourist Park has something to offer everyone, on the park and off.
