BIG4 Noosa Bougainvillea Holiday Park, Noosa has to be one of the best known holiday spots in Australia, let alone Queensland. It has a well deserved reputation for its beautiful gentle beach and the iconic Hastings Street where the smart people are seen. But, you always need somewhere to stay where ever you go and BIG4 Noosa Bougainvillea Holiday Park is a great base for your Noosa Style holiday.
So, now you know where you are going you need to make the choice about your accommodation. All the sites are powered, your choice will be whether you want an en-suite or not. If you bring your tent you can pitch it on a great grassed site, rather than one with a slab. I really liked to look of the sites with all the trees
The choice of cabins might be difficult, so the website at www.big4noosa.com.au takes you on a virtual tour to help you decide. I particularly liked the look of the Palm Villa, but the best part was being about to have a look from the balcony to the park, which gives you a view of your neighbours and the great gardens and trees. Some virtual tours really are worth taking, and these are in that category.
If you are coming with a group, then you might like to look at the Bunk House, with six separate rooms with either double or twin beds. If you take all the rooms you have the added value of using the beautifully designed and equipped communal room with kitchen, TV table and chairs – everything you need for your group or family to have their own space.
BIG4 Noosa has lots of added extras to make you stay easier. There is a café (and I am reliably informed that the hamburgers are real winners), hairdressers and service station. There are two swimming pools to cater for all sizes of two legged fish, the jumping pillow is for the energetic and the camp kitchen is for those on BBQ duty!
When you can tear yourself away from the park, the lovely riverside township of Tewantin is only a couple of kilometers down the road. You can get to Noosa under your own steam or catch the bus from outside the park. Noosa is such a popular place that sometimes the bus just makes sense, as parking can be tricky. One of highs for the area is the Eumundi Markets which are open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you cannot find what you want at these markets it may not exist. To say they are huge is an understatement, so an early morning start is a good idea.
Noosa is one of those places where something is always happening, it has a superb Farmers Market, a very professional theatre and so much more. The park website has a regularly updated list of the major events that Noosa is hosting, which can help you sort out what to do and how long you need to stay at BIG4 Noosa Bougainvillea Holiday Park.
