What better spot could you want for an ‘escape from the world’ holiday than the multi award winning Maroochy Palms Holiday Village. Just about whatever you want from a holiday is here or just around the corner.
There are luxurious cabins for couples and families, some have spas, some have river views, but all the cabins are kitted out with the same eye for detail and holiday enjoyment that your final choice will be hard to make.
For the caravanner, then your choice is a little easier – do you want an en-suite with that or not! Campers have great sites, some are around the lagoon (but no tarps allowed).
Where ever you stay at Maroochy Palms is just the beginning of the adventure. This is one of those parks that you can actually stay in without having to leave it – if you want. There is a huge swimming pool set in tropical lushness. While you are relaxing around the pool then the kids are well taken care of with the Kids Club during the school holidays and Jay Jay the trackless train (but you need to check the dates to make sure they match with your state’s school holidays).
For the energetic there is a 9 hole putt putt, a kids playground, a jumping pillow and the for adult fitness buff the gym is a great place to keep working on those abs! To round it all out you can use the games room, take advantage of the shop for something to cook – or already cooked.
But it is actually worth leaving Maroochy Palms occasionally! Literally just over the road is the superb Maroochy River which has some of the best fishing going. You can also hire all sorts of river ‘craft’ to sail or paddle on the safe river waters. Now, if eating out is high on your list, then the choices are enormous. You can go from side walk café styles right through to silver service.
No holiday on the coast would be complete without at least one day spent in the glorious Sunshine Coast Hinterland, with the delightful villages of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton. There is just not enough room in any one story to tell you everything there is to do in the area and on the park. So, the best way to find out is to go and stay there and ask the excellent receptionists to help you plan your stay. They have all the information at their finger tips, but that does not surprise me as Ray Fitton, the proud owner of Maroochy Palms, used to come to the Sunshine Coast for his school holidays! Knowledge that deep is great to share.
BIG4 Maroochy Palms Holiday Village is a perfect place for that perfect break.
