If you’ve a passion for regional Victorian wine and local produce, indulge your senses at the annual Pyrenees Escapade to be held at the Avoca Shire Turf Club Function Centre on Sunday, October 30th from 11am to 4pm.
Around 20 exhibitors from the historic Pyrenees winemaking region will showcase their red, white and sparkling delights, alongside boutique breweries and locally grown produce – a divine country escape from Melbourne Cup madness.
Hosted by the Pyrenees Grapegrowers and Winemakers Association, the program is heavenly for hard core wine lovers, with an International Masterclass and Wine Options Challenge some of the big draw-cards. This year a Rare Wine Auction will be held and some old rarities and museum treasures will be up for Auction, this is an opportunity to stock your cellar with some special finds. Add to this entertainment, petanque, door prizes, kid’s activities and fine food vendors will all add to a great day.
