2011 DENI UTE MUSTER - A GREAT EVENT! - NSW

The Deni Ute Muster is truly an iconic Australian event and I have to say this year will be the best ever and will remain in the memory of many forever with a fantastic line up of music and attractions.
Kicking off on Friday September 30th, US Rock Queen, Suzi Quatro will headline the concert and it gets much better. Also appearing that night will be The Sunny Cowgirls, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, McAlister Kemp and Tori Darke.
Saturday night will see one of Australia's greatest musical artists and exports, ICEHOUSE, headline the concert for that night at the Plains Festival. It will be the first time since 2009 that ICEHOUSE has performed a live concert. Also appearing on the Saturday night will be Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Brand, Guy Sebastian, Eskimo Joe, and Luke Dickens. But wait!! There's more! The AFL Grand Final (where hopefully the Saints will win) will be broadcast live coupled with a performance at half time on stage by Mental As Anything. Festival General Manager, John Harvie, expects they will have the biggest crowd watching the AFL Grand Final outside the MCG. "It's a fantastic atmosphere to watch the game, and the bonus is all the entertainment you get with your ticket", he said.
There's also stacks of free entertainment including circus performers, reptile encounters, kite flying, the ever popular roving duck and pig show, face painting, aboriginal art classes, boomerang painting, basket weaving woodwork and games for kids.
Of course we can't forget the utes, after all this is what the ute muster is all about. There will be a huge range of utes in display, a ute show and shine competition, ute driving competitions and the great Australian national Circle Work Championships as well as a bullride spectacular.
